The Independence Minnesota privacy policy.
What do you do with my contact information?
We use it to inform you of official and unofficial party events, including caucuses, conventions, and meetings. We use it to contact you, asking for your volunteer help, donations, and to keep you informed of what we are doing and what's going on in state politics. We keep your information in a secure electronic database. We do not sell or exchange your information with anyone. We do give our endorsed candidates access to this information, however.
Can I get you to remove me from the database entirely?
That depends, for reasons beyond our control. By state law, once you make a donation to the party, we have you keep a record of that donation and therefore can't scrub you from our records entirely. Before then, you can ask to be totally removed, but it's a special request - usually, we just keep you listed, but record that you don't want to be bothered. If you ever really want to be expunged to the extent allowed by law, the webmaster is again the best person to contact.
I have a question not addressed here!
That's not surprising, since this is a new document! Please let the webmaster know what you would like to know. He or she will try to both answer your question and add to this document as needed. Thanks!

The primary focus of District 2 is to bring Minnesota politics back to pressing issues, including health care, education, transportation, environmental preservation and economic factors, such as dependency on foreign oil.
We stand for government and political leadership that serves the highest long-term interests of our state and oppose partisan politics based solely on self-interest, extremism, or special interests.
