Minnesota's 4th Congressional District is comprised of St. Paul and surrounding suburban communities.
 

A Message From The Chair


The conventions are over and now begins the campaign season.

Within the 4th Congressional District, we have two incredible
candidates in Amy Smith in Senate District 65 and Mark Jenkins in Senate District 55.  As someone who has been around politics for over twenty years and been part of numerous winning campaigns, "incredible" is not a word I use lightly.  Even at this early point in the campaigns, their work effort and organization is at a level often not seen until September or October.

And here comes the pitch for your financial support…

While the 4th Congressional District -- IPM will always be happy to receive your contributions, in whatever amount you might choose, I would ask that you first consider a contribution to the campaigns of Amy Smith and Mark Jenkins.

While I am sure both candidates will be more than happy to receive any contributions at any time, there is also a practical and logistical point of this request.  Between now and the end of July, both Amy and Mark each need to raise $3000.00 in contributions to qualify for the Minnesota Campaign Public Subsidy.  This public subsidy provides key funding in support of their campaigns.

The 4th Congressional District – IPM will be looking at every
potential avenue, to support their campaigns, by use of multi-candidate funding, and by use of strategic items of support,
besides continued direct financial support.

Please also remember that both Amy and Mark will also welcome your direct assistance, helping with literature, yards signs, phone calls, letters to the editors of your newspapers, and talking to your neighbors.  It’s not the quantity of your time and energy, but the quality, which counts in campaigns. Each and every effort is important!
