  • Excercise your right to vote. We have resources to assist you with voter registration, finding your polling place and serving as an election judge.
  • Volunteer your time or services to support the Independence Party.
  • Contribute to the Independence Party. It's easy to make a secure contribution online.

  • Sign up for email alerts from about events, issues and elections

Participate in the February 2nd Caucuses!
Be heard! Make an impact! The IP caucuses on February 2nd at 7pm. These local meetings are held in classrooms, coffee shops, community centers and churches across Minnesota. These meetings are the beginning of the process to:

* Select candidates for the 2010 elections
* Shape the IP party platform
* Sign up to be an election judge
* Elect delegates and alternates to the Independence Party State Convention this May.

Caucuses are open to the public. In order to participate or vote at a precinct caucus attendees must:

* Be eligible to vote in the 2010 general election
* Live in the precinct
* Be in general agreement with the principles of the party (IP Platform) (General agreement is defined as aligned with 75% of the party platform)

Even if you do not meet these criteria, you may attend as an observer!

Caucuses start at 7pm and are held at a variety of locations across Minnesota. Locations are based on your presinct and legislative district Find your legislative district .
