Most of us didn't foresee the depth of this economic crisis. What other crises are looming? How can we take what we've learned from our economic crisis and apply it to other potential threats, like bioterrorism and public health concerns?

Join moderator Steve Seel, DJ from 89.3 the Current, and Dr. Mike Osterholm, director of the Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy at the U of M, to talk about it over good food and drinks.

You, friends and family are invited to the All City Picnic and Endorsing Convention, Monday July 20th, starting at 6PM at Lake Harriet. We will have numerous games, plus dogs (including vegetarian), corn and some side dishes. Whether you are a delegate or not, you are invited to come meet candidates and other reform-minded friends to see what's going on in Minneapolis this year. We will endorse the bulk of our candidates at this event. We are meeting on the west shore of the lake and have a nice shelter area. We sure hope you can make it!
