MPR US Senate Debate

Time yet to be determined, but Minnesota Public Radio will host and broadcast this final senatorial candidate debate from the Fitzgerald Theater in Saint Paul.

Final Dean Barkley Rally

4:30pm – 6:00pm

One day to go and the last official campaign push will be at 4:30 PM at the Light Rail Stop outside city Hall and the Hennepin county Gov't Center.  Meet us there when you can get there, the Barkley Campaign's Diane Goldman will be there just before 4:30 with signs for everyone to hold, and Dean will be there too, to shake hands with commuters.

4:30 p.m., meet-and-greet with commuters at Government Plaza Light Rail Stop (Minneapolis, outside City Hall and Hennepin County Government Center)

You are invited you to join the Independence Party Election Night Party after you have finished voting and any volunteer activities you are doing on November 4th.  Please bring family & friends!


The Party will start at 7:30 PM and will run late into the evening as we join together to watch the election returns come in and celebrate our wonderful candidates.  Each of our endorsed candidates have given all of us reason to be Proud of how their campaigns were run and the ideas they put forth.

Join Senator Dean Barkley, David Dillon, Paul Gaston, and more along with their volunteers, staff, and the other committed members of the Independence Party’s family.

Restoring America’s Standing in the World

David Brooks is a columnist for the New York Times and a regular contributor to "The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer" and NPR’s"All Things Considered." He was a contributing editor at Newsweek and The Atlantic, senior editor at The Weekly Standard, and the op-ed editor for the Wall Street Journal. He is widely recognized for his savvy analysis of political, foreign affairs, and the American way of life.



Minnesota Public Radio broadcasts the Forum on its News and Information stations. To accommodate the seating need of classes or large groups, please call the Town Hall Forum at 612.332.3421. Convenient parking is available across the street from Westminster at the Hyatt Regency Hotel and at Orchestra Hall ramp, Marquette Avenue and 11th Street.

Forums are held from noon to 1:00pm at Westminster Presbyterian Church, Nicollet Mall and 12th Street, in downtown Minneapolis. Each forum is preceded by a concert at 11:30am and followed by a reception in the Great Hall and a small group discussion in the Bates Room.

Independence Party MeetUP!

Its the post election relax, kick back, and talk about the campaigns time.

We encourage all of you to come and mingle whether you were a hard core volunteer, a one time helper, or simply someone who voted for an IP candidate to come by.

This year we have continued to build the IP's image in the public and our candidates have continued building our basic core level of support that is out there. NOW, it the time you stay involved and start building the support for our next round of elections.

Please bring friends who might be interested in the future of the IP. They are welcome!

IP Leaders will be there to introduce opportunities to volunteer and to say "Thank you!"
